After a few days on the South Coast, it was time to turn north. We followed the coast towards Adelaide. Made short stops at wineries along the way, such as Cape Jaffa.
After Adelaide (which we only drove through) we headed for the mining town of Broken Hill.
This turned out to be as close to the wilderness and the outback we came on this trip. After one day in the scorching heat we decided to go for the East Coast. We longed for the rain forests and the winding roads…
The next day we were back in the forests and the mountains and spent some time with the wallabies in the Warrumbungle National Park known for being Australia’s only Dark Sky Park and perfect for stargazing.
