On our way down to the south coast, we took a day in the Alpine National Park. We passed Australia’s highest mountain Mount Kosciuszko in the Snowy Mountains, on really fun and winding gravel roads.
Once arrived on the south coast we spent a couple of days at Ninety Mile Beach and Wilsons Promontory, Victoria’s largest coastal wilderness area.
Then it was time for The Great Ocean Road and its main attraction, The Twelve Apostles. We drove past these, as the car park was full of coaches, but I think The Razorback is just as beautiful.
By now we were experienced rooftop tent campers and set camp in about 10 mins in the evenings. And thanks to the fridge we could cool down with ice-cold beer afterwards.
